demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation” of
Healthcare Organizations national standards for health care quality and safety ,
Intensive Home Healthcare Inc., has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of
Approval.
“We sought accreditation for
our organization because we want to demonstrate our commitment to our patient’s
safety and quality care.” Says J. Kelly Elveston, Vice President. “ We view
obtaining Joint Commission accreditation as another step toward achieving
excellence.”
“In becoming accredited,
Intensive Home Healthcare Inc. was evaluated against a set of national standards
by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of home care
services,” says Maryanne Popovich, R.N.,M.P.H., executive director, Home Care
Accreditation Program, Joint Commission. “Achieving accreditation demonstrates
Intensive Home Healthcare Inc.’s commitment to providing high quality and safe
care to its patients.”
The award of
accreditation is the third award of accreditation Intensive Home Healthcare Inc.
has achieved. This award of accreditation is for the three year period ending
